That's how we approach every job. Paint is only as good as the surface underneath it, so before anything goes on the walls, we protect your home, clean thoroughly and fix what needs fixing. We do everything right so you can enjoy the results.
Here's what that looks like.
Protect
We cover and protect your floors first. Furniture is moved and covered, and anything that shouldn't get paint on it is masked off.
Clean
Every surface gets cleaned. That could mean wiping down the walls, removing as much kitchen grease as possible, or shop-vacuuming the cobwebs and dust out of corners and ceilings.
Repair & Patch
We fill nail holes, dents and cracks and repair damaged areas so the surface is solid and sound.
Sand
Patches and rough spots are sanded smooth so nothing telegraphs through the new finish.
Prime
We prime repairs, stains and bare surfaces so the paint bonds well and covers evenly.
Caulk & Seal
We caulk and seal everything: trim, corners, and gaps around windows and doors. No seams if possible.
Paint
With the surface properly prepared, we apply the finish coats with clean, straight lines and even coverage.
Clean Up & Final Walkthrough
We remove all coverings, put your furniture back, clean up thoroughly and walk through the finished work with you. If anything isn't right, we take care of it before we leave.
Doing it this way takes more time. We believe it's the only way to do it, and the results show it.
